Job Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Private Credit Expert to join our Client and Partner Development team in India.

The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding client needs, onboarding Private Market clients into our platform, and working on deep dive presentations and proof of concept projects to help us win new business with private markets fund managers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop a deep understanding and working knowledge of our business and functional domain, products, solutions, and underlying technology.
  • Interact with clients and understand their business problem, design solution by applying deep understanding of existing and upcoming technical and functional capabilities.
  • Review and understand key fund organizational documents and operational workflows required for onboarding and implementing Private Fund data into our platform.
  • Perform various activities like Data Mapping, data transformation, loading, and reconciliation in our platform as a part of client implementations.
  • Liaise with various stakeholders within projects during the phases of implementation project.
  • Support building and enhancing the implementation tools for seamless and faster onboarding.
  • Work with technology teams as needed for assisting testing in developing tailor-made reports and any special requirement identified during requirement gathering phase.
Requirements:

Must-Haves:

  • 8-14 years of financial industry experience along with professional certification like CA, MBA, or CFA with background in private capital markets.
  • Strong understanding of private credit front to back journey starting from credit origination, structuring, underwriting, loan operations, accounting to all the way to portfolio monitoring including covenant monitoring and risk management.
  • Thorough understanding of data models and flows relating to credit analysis, financials, and portfolio monitoring datasets.
  • Good understanding of asset servicing and accounting lifecycle for Private Loans including understanding of all the major lifecycle events such as drawdowns, prepayments, PIKs.
  • Prior experience of client implementations onboarding, operating platforms, understanding of Basic SQL is an added advantage.

  • Critical thinking and strong communication articulation skills.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel.
