Job Opportunity: Senior Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate to support the management of private equity funds.

This role involves playing a key role in supporting the management of private equity funds by tracking quarterly valuations from capital accounts and rolling forward valuations using cash flow notices, among other responsibilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for capturing fund valuation data such as investment cost, realized/unrealized value, gross/net multiple, and financial KPIs such as revenue, EBITDA, and net debt.

They will also analyze PE fund performance by reviewing fund literature, including quarterly/financial reports.

Additionally, the Senior Associate will prepare quarterly reports to investors on fund and portfolio company performance, including NAV, DVPI, TVPI, IRRs, costs, and investors' capital accounts.

Furthermore, they will track operational KPIs and provide updates on a quarterly basis, calculate fund multiples and IRRs using cash flows, and perform various fund analytics, including attribution and value creation analysis.

  • MBA or other post-graduate or professional degree from a reputable institution
  • Knowledge and understanding of private equity, fund of funds, and financial services industry trends
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with strong skills in MS Word and MS Excel
  • Knowledge of databases, including CapIQ and Preqin (an added advantage)
  • Ability to take complete ownership and deliver projects as per client requirements and timeline
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to conduct high-quality project-level conversations with clients
