Identity Governance Specialist Job Description

As an Identity Governance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing robust identity governance solutions within an organization. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with various teams to ensure secure and efficient identity and access management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement comprehensive identity governance solutions, incorporating Azure Active Directory, Conditional Access, and Identity Protection.
  • Configure and manage Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) systems.
  • Integrate identity management solutions with other enterprise systems and third-party applications for seamless provisioning and lifecycle management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex identity and access-related issues.
  • Implement and manage on-premises Active Directory environments.
  • Develop and maintain identity lifecycle management processes and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to clients and internal teams.
  • Document configurations, processes, and best practices for future reference.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with Microsoft Entra and on-prem Active Directory implementation and management.
  • Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management and security principles.
  • Hands-on experience with Conditional Access, MFA, and SSO.
  • Knowledge of protocols like SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate).
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
