We are looking for a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team of experts in cloud data engineering. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and make a meaningful impact on our clients' businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable data architectures on AWS cloud using Glue, Redshift, and Athena.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop high-quality, maintainable, and robust code in SQL, Scala, and Python.
  • Lead the development of data warehouses using Oracle, Redshift, PostgreSQL, and other databases, ensuring strong data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing practices.
  • Work extensively with cloud services (AWS or MS Azure or GCS etc.) and have a strong understanding of cloud databases (e.g. Redshift/Aurora/DynamoDB), compute engines (e.g. EMR/Glue), data streaming (e.g. Kinesis), and storage (e.g. S3).
  • Apply big data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Hbase, Spark, EMR, etc.) to drive business insights and decision-making.

Requirements:
  • 4-8 years of experience in data engineering on AWS cloud with Glue, Redshift, and Athena.
  • Ability to write high-quality, maintainable, and robust code in SQL, Scala, and Python.
  • Experience working with cloud databases, compute engines, data streaming, and storage services.
  • Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Hbase, Spark, EMR, etc.).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
