Job Title: Cyber Security Specialist
This role is focused on developing and implementing secure coding practices to prevent security breaches and ensure system integrity.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cyber security principles, including encryption, key management, and firewall rules. They should also be proficient in C and C++ programming languages and have experience with POSIX standards in Linux or QNX environments.
In addition to hands-on experience with embedded devices, the candidate should have a deep understanding of cryptographic principles, including key management, firewall configurations, and software integrity. They should also be familiar with hardware platforms, particularly Qualcomm BSP or similar systems.
Responsibilities include establishing, evaluating, and continuously improving cybersecurity standards to ensure robust protection and compliance with industry best practices. This includes designing, implementing, and maintaining effective security solutions to safeguard systems against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Key accountabilities include:
- Developing comprehensive best practice software guidelines for cyber security
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to guide, support, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity guidelines
- Documenting, organizing, and analyzing security-related information to gain valuable insights into security operations
Required skills and qualifications include:
- Demonstrated strong programming skills in C and C++, with the ability to write efficient and reliable code
- Expertise in POSIX standards, specifically in Linux or QNX environments
- Extensive hands-on experience with hardware, particularly Qualcomm BSP or similar platforms
