Senior Product Leader

We are seeking a seasoned Buying & Merchandising professional to drive the strategic direction of our Home Décor category. The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen, an eye for design trends, and hands-on experience in inventory management, product sourcing, and cross-functional collaboration.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing seasonal and category-wise buying plans that meet sales targets and align with market trends.
- Analyzing sales trends, inventory movement, and forecasting demand to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
- Maintaining vendor trackers and ensuring timely payments, logistics, returns, and damages.
- Conducting trend and market research to curate relevant product assortments that meet customer needs.
- Managing vendor development, negotiations, sampling, POs, and deliveries to ensure timely and cost-effective execution.
- Collaborating with marketing and ecommerce teams on launches, campaigns, and product uploads to maximize brand visibility and sales.
Requirements:
- 4-6 years of experience in Buying & Merchandising, preferably in home décor, furniture, or lifestyle retail.
- Proficiency in Excel and inventory/merchandising systems (SAP, ERP, Wondersoft, etc.).
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Familiarity with B2C, experiential, or lifestyle retail formats is preferred.
