The role of Business Intelligence Specialist revolves around developing and delivering business intelligence solutions to internal stakeholders. This entails providing qualitative and quantitative insights through analytics, thereby supporting data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver business intelligence solutions to internal customers.
- Support data-driven decision-making by offering analytics and insights.
- Drive the design and enhancement of existing services/processes/deliverables (quality, productivity, value).
- Closely collaborate with stakeholders to understand and convert business requirements into actionable solutions.
- Provide comprehensive documentation and communication throughout the delivery of services.
- Support in maintaining knowledge repositories/catalogues, SOPs, and quality checklists.
- Participate, lead, and design various knowledge-sharing sessions and training programs.
- Contribute to building and supporting functional and organizational business objectives and strategy.
- Conduct bottom-up forecasts using internal data, external databases, and/or proprietary tools for European regions.
- Implement forecast accuracy metrics to track forecast changes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, validate inputs, and ensure forecast accuracy and consistency.
- Support multiple markets including regional, cluster, and country-level forecasting, including portfolio analysis and database maintenance.
- Integrate information from different internal and external data sources available and support the maintenance of portfolio databases.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in Epi-based forecasting for inline, pipeline, and brand products/brands and trend-based forecasting.
- A deeper understanding of disease areas and its application to forecasting.
- Experience in managing data, analyzing trends, and utilizing quantitative analytic techniques to generate insights and refine forecasting catalogues.
- Application of EU market access, healthcare, and price & reimbursement policies for forecast development.
- A deep understanding of secondary research to support and validate assumptions made in the forecast development.
- Expertise in handling datasets - IQVIA, Evaluate, IPD, DRG, etc.
- Effective forecast storyboarding, gathering key insights backed by relevant data.
- Utilize data and quantitative analytics, conduct business analysis, and perform analog analysis to drive forecast accuracy.
- Support the team in proposal writing and managing complex business problems.
- Train/mentor/guide junior members in the team.
