Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned software development engineer in test (SDET) with expertise in Node.js and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for scalable APIs and microservices using Node.js.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs, ensuring high-quality code delivery.
  • Develop and execute end-to-end tests using Playwright, Selenium, or similar tools.
  • Implement automation testing techniques and tools, including but not limited to Cucumber, Appium, and GraphQL.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in coding and automation testing in JavaScript technologies.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience with TypeScript.
  • Strong understanding of development and testing principles for scalable and highly available RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Practical experience with containerization, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of task/message queues, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Pushpin, and Kafka.
  • Experience with API gateway integrations, single-sign-on, and token-based authentication.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Expert knowledge of coding, testing, security, unit testing, and documentation standards and practices.
  • Experience with Agile methodology and CI/CD principles.
