Job Overview

As a Backend Developer, you will play a key role in designing and building scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs and services using JavaScript (Node.js).

Our ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in JavaScript (Node.js) and experience with frameworks like Express.js, Nest.js, or similar.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining APIs and services that meet our business needs.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving issues in production.
  • Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of professional backend development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (Node.js) and experience with frameworks like Express.js, Nest.js, or similar.
  • Knowledge of TypeScript.
  • Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL – e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of system design, scalability, and security best practices.
  • Ability to take ownership, work independently, and deliver end-to-end solutions.
