Accounting Manager Position Summary

The ideal candidate for this Accounting Manager position will be responsible for leading the Accounts Payable team in managing end-to-end AP functions. This includes timely and accurate processing of domestic and import invoices, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

The successful AP Manager will oversee vendor lifecycle management, including onboarding, payment terms negotiation, dispute resolution, and reconciliation. They will also supervise the Fixed Asset (FA) accounting process, capitalization, physical verification, tagging, depreciation, and asset retirement.

Additionally, they will ensure proper accounting and compliance for GST and TDS on vendor transactions, coordinating with tax and compliance teams as needed. The AP Accounting Manager will also monitor prepaid expenses, perform systematic amortization and reporting, and review and approve month-end and year-end provisions.

Key responsibilities include performing aging analysis of accounts payable, managing working capital, providing timely dashboards and MIS to management, and driving process improvements and automation initiatives within the AP function. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of leadership and experience in managing AP teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
