Legal Operations Leader

The company seeks a seasoned legal professional to oversee all aspects of legal operations, ensuring seamless compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of legal operations, including compliance and company policy management.
  • Drafting, vetting, and negotiating high-value contracts and agreements.
  • Providing strategic legal counsel to senior management on matters related to the property and building materials industries.
  • Managing disputes, liaising with external counsel and regulatory authorities as needed.
  • Monitoring changes in laws and regulations, advising on their impact on the company.
  • Implementing risk management strategies to safeguard the company's interests.
  • Leading and mentoring the legal team across corporate and manufacturing units.
  • Advising top management on legal issues, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory frameworks.
Requirements:
  • Law degree from a recognized institution, minimum 18 years of experience, with some years in a manufacturing setup.
  • Fluency in Tamil (verbal and written) is essential; knowledge of Telugu and Hindi is beneficial.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
  • Strong contract negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
  • Effective stakeholder management and sound legal advice provision.
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
