Chief Financial Strategist

As a key business manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the organization's objectives by adding value through strategic planning, preserving value by reducing operational risks, and enhancing value by identifying opportunities.

• Advising businesses to protect profitability on additional costs of doing business in domestic and cross-border markets.
• Ensuring the monitoring of business governance and alignment on key performance indicators adopted by teams, internal processes, and finance functions.
• Managing relationships with external consultants and internal functions to ensure effective compliance on regulations and policies to minimize the risk of litigation.
• Managing relationships with internal and external auditors to ensure effective completion of audits.

• Monitoring key performance indicators to avoid working capital lock-in and ensure review of operations to avoid any leakage.
• Responsible for timely execution of business plans with accuracy and quality.
• Responsible for adequacy of financial provision, owner of financial accounts & ensuring financial positions are followed.
• Ensure effective assessments & litigation management by conducting due research on business matters to ensure effective representation of the financial position adopted with detailed documentation within timelines.
• Ensure timely closure of audit points with complete and accurate submission of schedules and documents.
• Ensure timely response to consultation and adequate safeguard in engagement documents from financial and regulatory perspectives. Ensure teams and other stakeholders understand the financial impact and consider it in business transactions.
• Ensure application controls are inbuilt in financials and regular review of the same to ensure effective controls. Regular review of exception reporting and undertaking corrective action.
• Ensure effective maintenance of documentation with respect to compliance and assessments and timely update in reporting applications.
• Effective contribution to firm's strategic projects ensuring finance aspects are duly considered.
• Responsible for actions to mitigate financial risks on firm policies and business model.
• Ensuring accurate financial reporting highlighting exceptions, and staying updated with changes in laws, evaluate the impact on operations and business model and ensure the impact is factored in policies and cost of operations.
• Responsible for maintaining robust internal controls and regular review to prevent errors and fraud and ensure integrity of financial reporting. Ensure firm operations and policies are updated with the latest financial framework.
• Responsible and report agreed Process KPI, strengthen review mechanism. Ensure timely compliance with governance on monthly reporting.
• Adherence to interdepartmental deliverables through Interlock documents.
• Responsible for meeting KQI and RCSA KPI and taking corrective actions for continuous improvement. Review RCSA periodically under Risk Mitigation strategy and enhance RCSA framework.Leadership Skills:

  • Performance Monitoring: Maintaining and evaluating individual and team performance metrics. Ensuring fair and equitable measurement of performance.
