Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing and implementing complex network infrastructure for customers, supporting WAN, LAN, WLAN on a multi-vendor network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement customer network infrastructure
  • Create and maintain documentation for implementation
  • Support and coach other engineers in the team
  • Lead and assist in defining project strategy
  • Manage project deliverables
  • Perform advanced analysis on incidents and act as escalation engineer
  • Fourth-level support for Operations
  • Create processes for other engineers to follow
  • Lead and own projects and small teams of engineers
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Two or more technical certifications at associate or professional levels related to VZ product portfolio areas
  • Technical knowledge and experience with Juniper JNCIP or JNCIE level, focusing on WAN, LAN, WLAN
  • Technical knowledge and experience with Aruba Central, Aruba switches, and Aruba WLAN highly beneficial
  • Technical knowledge and experience with Mist dashboard and WLAN also highly beneficial
  • Technical knowledge and experience with Cisco CCNP or CCIE level on WAN and LAN beneficial
  • Fluent English communication skills, written and verbal
Experience
  • 8 or more years' technical experience in design and implementation of large-scale customer networks
  • Experience within telecommunications organisations or international companies beneficial
  • Ability to give guidance and coaching to other engineers at a technical level
