Our team is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer L1 to join our NOC. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and reporting alerts from network devices, working on raised and assigned tickets/alerts from the ITSM tool, handling fault management with service providers for network-related issues, coordinating with L2 engineers for issue resolution and change management, performing network-related changes on network devices as per defined SOP, preparing and maintaining network-related reports, monitoring and managing network infrastructure (devices, links, etc.), providing escalation support for L1; escalating issues to L2/L3 engineers if not resolved, receiving calls, raising tickets (if not already available), and sharing the ticket number, adding new network devices into the network and recording them in the asset management system, following up with engineers to restore network uptime (links and devices), and following up for RMA replacements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and report alerts from network devices
  • Work on raised and assigned tickets/alerts from the ITSM tool

  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
