Role Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Tax Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in GST and Income Tax, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling end-to-end GST compliance, managing Income Tax matters, drafting replies and appeals, and providing advisory support on taxation queries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle end-to-end GST compliance, including filing returns, reconciliations, and assessments.
  • Manage Income Tax matters, such as ITR filings, tax planning, and scrutiny assessments.
  • Draft replies, appeals, and representations for departmental notices and proceedings.
  • Attend hearings and interactions with tax authorities on behalf of clients.
  • Provide advisory support on taxation queries and ensure compliance with evolving tax laws.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Proven hands-on experience in GST and Income Tax domains, including drafting and departmental interactions.
  • Strong understanding of Indian tax laws, rules, and recent amendments.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in tax software and MS Office tools.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a client-facing role.
