Software Development Role

We are looking for a skilled and passionate software developer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new features, such as web pages and applications
  • Maintain and enhance existing features to improve performance and user experience
  • Test and deploy code to ensure it meets quality standards
  • Create back-end components using languages like Ruby on Rails
  • Integrate user-facing elements with front-end technologies like HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3
  • Design user interactions on web pages to create an intuitive user experience
  • Ensure cross-platform optimization for mobile devices to provide seamless access
  • Monitor and enhance the performance of applications

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in web-based software development
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Experience working with Ruby on Rails and ability to write clean Ruby code
  • Proficiency with code versioning tools like Bitbucket, Git, and GitHub
  • Familiarity with MVC, REST architecture
  • Good understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3, and Bootstrap framework
  • Familiarity with database technology and SQL programming (we use MySQL)
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools (we use Jira, Scrum)
  • Proficient with Linux distributions like Ubuntu

It Would Be A Plus If You Also Have:

  • Experience with frameworks like AngularJS, Angular, React
  • Experience with web servers like Apache, Nginx
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (we use AWS)
  • Experience in developing and maintaining APIs
