SAP Security Specialist Role Overview

The position of SAP Security Specialist is a crucial role within our organization, responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Security solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Analyze and resolve segregation of duties (SoD) issues and ensure compliance with SOX audit requirements.
  • Design and implement SAP Fiori and S/4HANA Security solutions to enhance user experience and security.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in SAP tables, including AGR, USH, and USR, to optimize system performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define scope and gather business requirements for SAP security roles.
  • Provide education and training on standard SAP business processes, associated risks, and SoD to internal stakeholders.
  • Administer SAP roles and users, including testing and documentation to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Analyze and resolve Fiori-related authorization issues using tools such as SU53, iwfnd/error_log, and STAUTHTRACE.
  • Participate in Go-Live activities, including user build, role assignment, data upload, and error analysis to ensure smooth system transition.
  • Work independently to manage multiple projects efficiently and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality results.

Candidates must possess strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and professionalism to succeed in this role.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in implementing SAP S/4HANA Security solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of SOX audit requirements and segregation of duties (SoD) issues.
  • Mandatory expertise in SAP Fiori and S/4HANA Security.
  • Proficient in working with SAP tables, including AGR, USH, and USR.
  • Strong understanding of standard SAP business processes, associated risks, and SoD.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex problems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • SAP Security GRC certification is an advantage.
