Data Engineering Position

This is an exciting opportunity to work on data engineering projects at a forward-thinking organization.

The ideal candidate will be an analytical thinker with exceptional attention to detail, able to design and build solutions that meet business needs.

  • Design and implement warehouse and reporting solutions.
  • Extract data from various sources and consolidate it into a data warehouse or lake.
  • Ensure data accessibility and structure for reporting purposes.
  • Set up dashboards and reports in data visualization tools.
  • Build resilient, reliable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.

We require a collaborative team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand business needs and design solutions to meet those needs.
  • Implement warehouse and reporting solutions.
  • Extract data from bespoke applications and third-party products.
  • Consolidate multiple data sources into a data warehouse or data lake.
  • Ensure data is accessible and structured for reporting needs.
  • Setup dashboards and reports in data visualization and reporting tools.
  • Build resilient, reliable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field required. 10+ years of experience with SQL Servers and relational databases. Strong experience with querying and optimizing complex data sets. Expertise in data engineering or related roles. End-to-end knowledge from product databases to information visualization. Experience in Azure cloud technologies including ADF, Functions, DLS, Synapse etc.
