Software Quality Engineer Role

We are seeking highly skilled professionals to fill the Software Quality Engineer role, which involves ensuring that software meets high-quality standards and is free from defects.

This position requires a strong background in automated testing, with experience in tools such as Selenium and Cucumber. You will be responsible for implementing automated tests for multiple testing scenarios and extending the coverage of automation tests to support early detection of bugs and risks.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Implement automated tests for multiple testing scenarios
  • Extend the coverage of automation tests to support early detection of bugs and risks
  • Liaise with development teams to promote continuous alignment
  • Work closely with country distribution and core domain squads to ensure software quality goals are being achieved

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Solid experience with automated testing (at least 7 years)
  • Knowledge of at least one software development language
  • Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, or similar technologies
  • Experience building automated test suites for build/regression testing
  • Experience with Jenkins, CircleCI, Bamboo, or similar tools

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience building Load/Stress Tests using tools such as JMeter, Blazemeter, Apache Benchmark or similar
  • Experience in a continuous integration/deployment environment
  • Experience building tests in the context of a microservice/SOA architecture
  • Experience testing interfaces and APIs using SOAP-UI, Rest-Assured,or similar tools
