Quality Assurance Specialist

The role of Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of secure and reliable software across multiple platforms.

This position is responsible for executing, supporting, and continuously improving quality assurance processes within the DevSecOps department.

This encompasses test planning, code quality enforcement, vulnerability scanning, and release readiness. The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in QA methodologies, test planning, and defect tracking.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for application interfaces and operations.
  • Maintain high standards of Sonar Cloud quality gates and monitor key code quality metrics.
  • Track defects from QA findings efficiently.
  • Conduct thorough release readiness reviews and validate quality criteria prior to deployment.

The successful candidate will also have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Relevant certifications are highly valued.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Vulnerability & Security: Perform vulnerability scanning and reporting using tools such as Sonar Cloud and Visual Studio Code.
  • Collaboration & Support: Participate in regular QA reviews and collaborate closely with Dev Leads, Ops, and Service teams.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate system documentation and QA procedures.

Key Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in QA or related positions, preferably within DevSecOps environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant field required (proven experience can substitute for degree requirement).

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Desirable experience with Sonar Cloud, Visual Studio Code, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Desirable knowledge of vulnerability scanning and compliance requirements.
