Cloud Engineer Leader

As a senior cloud engineer leader, you will design and implement large-scale data engineering solutions using AWS services and cloud-native architectures.

About the Role:

  • Utilize your technical expertise to create innovative data pipelines that drive business growth and improve scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain high-performance data processing systems.
  • Develop thought leadership on data engineering best practices and drive innovation within the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable data engineering solutions using Python, Spark, and AWS services.
  • Develop and maintain large-scale data processing systems, leveraging ETL data processing and data engineering practices.
  • Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance on advanced coding practices, architecture, and strategic problem-solving.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to enhance team capabilities and drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • 10-15 years of experience in software architecture and solution design, with a focus on data engineering and cloud-native architectures.
  • Expertise in Python, Spark, and AWS services, including EMR, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, and Athena.
  • Experience leading teams in design, development, and implementation, with a strong focus on mentoring and continuous learning.
  • Master's degree or relevant certifications advantageous.
