Cloud Data Engineer - Full Remote Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Data Engineer to join our team on a full remote basis. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in a cloud-based environment and have experience with data integration, cleanup, and processing.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure and Google Cloud, as well as experience with data pipelines using technologies like PySpark and Databricks.

We require candidates to have +3 years of hands-on experience in Python, Pyspark, Databricks, and cloud platforms like Azure and Google Cloud. Experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions and automating data pipelines is also necessary.

Candidates should be able to work effectively with Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT and OpenAI models to enhance applications with natural language processing (NLP) capabilities. A proven ability in metadata management and schema mapping is also required.

This role involves ensuring the scalability and reliability of data processing workflows, training, fine-tuning, and deploying AI models, analyzing their performance based on real-world results, and optimizing models using feedback mechanisms.

In addition, we seek candidates who can utilize strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor or Master degree;
  • +3 years of hands-on experience in Python, Pyspark, Databricks, and cloud platforms like Azure and Google Cloud;
  • Experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions and automating data pipelines;
  • Experience in working with Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT, OpenAI models, or enhancing solutions with natural language processing (NLP) capabilities;
  • Proven ability in metadata management and schema mapping;
  • Cloud certifications (Azure, Google Cloud, or similar) are a plus;
