Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced Tax Senior to join our team in Alternative Investments/PE.

  • This role involves preparing and reviewing partnership entities and related state filings, leveraging your expertise in Subchapter K knowledge and application.
  • You'll be responsible for reviewing operating agreements, letters of intent, purchase agreements, and other legal documentation related to tax transactions.
  • The successful candidate will perform complete and efficient technical reviews of pass-through entity tax returns, gather data from customers and/or third-party sources, and perform basic tax research to support tax return positions.

About the Role

  • Perform technical reviews of partnership entities and related state filings.
  • Review and analyze operating agreements, letters of intent, purchase agreements, and other legal documentation related to tax transactions.
  • Continuously expand Subchapter K knowledge and application.
  • Manage budgets and seek efficiencies to ensure successful engagement outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in accounting, finance, required.
  • Significant progress toward EA License or CPA certification, preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of recent public accounting firm experience.
  • Experience working with partnership entities (Form 1065) and dealing with Subchapter K reporting matters.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong time and work management skills.
  • Leadership and project/team management skills.
  • Familiarity with CCH Axcess is required, and knowledge of CaseWare is preferred but not necessary.

  • You possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
