Senior Big Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Big Data Engineer to fill this role.

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance data processing systems for maximum efficiency.
  • Build robust ETL/ELT workflows for structured and unstructured data using big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Hive, HBase, Kafka, Flume.
  • Implement real-time and batch data processing solutions with expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and their big data services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions and optimize big data systems for reliability.
About This Role:
  • This position requires 6+ years of experience as a Big Data Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong expertise in big data tools, SQL, and at least one programming language (Java, Scala, or Python) is necessary.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), NoSQL databases (Cassandra, MongoDB), and machine learning concepts and algorithms is desirable.
