Big Data Developer

This role is ideal for a skilled and ambitious professional with expertise in big data technologies. As a Big Data Developer, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems using Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop scalable data pipelines using Apache Kafka, Flume, and other tools to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Implement data quality checks, data validation, and data governance policies to ensure high-quality data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various sources and ensure data accuracy.
  • Work closely with data scientists to develop and deploy machine learning models that drive business insights.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the field of Big Data.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in Big Data engineering, preferably with a focus on Scala, AWS, and Python or Java.
  • Strong understanding of Big Data concepts, including data ingestion, processing, storage, and analytics.
  • Experience with big data frameworks like Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Scala, Java, or Python.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
