Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

 

The company is looking for a skilled professional to join its quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills and a strong understanding of product perspectives.

As a senior manual QA tester, you will play a crucial role in the product development process, ensuring that software meets the highest standards of quality and performance.

  • Develop comprehensive test plans, execute and maintain test cases and scripts to ensure thorough testing of products.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration and user acceptance testing to identify and report defects.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and ensure testing covers all critical aspects.
  • Analyse test results, identify issues and provide clear feedback to the development team.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of test results and defects using test management tools.
  • Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality.

 

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in manual testing with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think from both a user and product perspective.
  • Experience in creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Excellent understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with various testing tools and techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality products in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.

 

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in testing web and mobile applications.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of automated testing tools.
