A GRC professional is essential to our organization's success. The role involves implementing effective risk management and compliance systems for customers, focusing on policy adherence, security requirements governance, and threat mitigation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute client initiatives to minimize technology risk, enhance governance, and ensure adherence to policies and external regulations.
  • Evaluate business and IT risks to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective measures.
  • Create and maintain IT security standards, procedures, and controls to manage risks and improve client security posture.
  • Evaluate information security threats and their impact on clients' IT environment, providing strategic recommendations for mitigation.
  • Support senior team members in analyzing requirements, designing information security postures, and ensuring Legal, Regulatory, and Scheme security requirements are met.
  • Deliver work streams for clients in compliance standards such as PCI DSS, ISO27001, EU GDPR, and Bahrain PDPL, and incident management disciplines.
  • Perform internal and external information security risk and exception assessments, assess incidents, vulnerability management, scans, patching status, secure baselines, penetration test results, phishing, and social engineering tests and attacks.
  • Document and report control failures and gaps to stakeholders, providing remediation guidance and preparing management reports to track remediation activities.
  • Stay current on best practices and technological advancements, acting as a technical resource for security assessment and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT Governance, Risk & Compliance.
  • Understanding of ISO 27001, PCI DSS, ITIL, ITSM, and COBIT standards preferred.
  • Experience with risk management principles and associated methodologies.
  • Ideal candidate will have a CEH, CISSP, CISA, or CISM qualification.
  • Proven ability to make sound pragmatic decisions and judgments under tight timelines.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to influence and drive change in a collaborative way both internally and externally.
