Job Title:

A Senior SAP Security Specialist is required to lead and manage large-scale SAP Security design and restructuring projects.

This role involves designing, configuring and maintaining SAP security roles, profiles and authorizations across various SAP environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, configure and maintain SAP security roles, profiles and authorizations
  • Manage user provisioning, access requests and license assignments using SAP Identity Management (IDM)
  • Apply position-based access control models where appropriate
  • Maintain Firefighter (FF) access via SAP GRC 12
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, segregation of duties (SoD) requirements and audit controls
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP authorization issues, IDM provisioning problems and SAP cloud access challenges
  • Support security aspects of system maintenance, upgrades, migrations and new project implementations
  • Monitor SAP security logs, identify potential risks and take proactive action
  • Collaborate with functional, technical and audit teams to deliver secure and compliant SAP solutions
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of SAP security design principles and role architecture
  • Expertise in SoD risk identification and remediation
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects in large-scale SAP environments
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and documentation skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or related field
  • Minimum 8+ years' experience in SAP Security, including role design, GRC and IDM
  • Experience with security in ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Fiori and related SAP environments
