SAP Basis Administration Role

Our organization seeks an experienced SAP Basis Administrator to assume key responsibilities in our IT department.

About the Position:
  • Perform cloud migration of SAP systems, including installation and configuration using SWPM export/import and DMO (SUM tool) methods.
  • Evaluate landscapes and readiness for migrating SAP systems to cloud through a structured plan.
  • Provide subject matter expertise for migrating SAP workloads to cloud and offer recommendations to overcome blockers.
  • Maintain knowledge of technical architecture and solution design.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Backup strategy, patch, note, and migration strategies
  • Technical skills include SAP OS/DB Certified Professional
  • Hands-on experience with SAP system installation, upgrade, patching, SAP OS/DB migration, system performance, and downtime optimization
  • SAP Basis / NetWeaver Administration
  • Design of SAP infrastructure (compute, storage, and networking)
  • Backup and recovery of SAP systems
  • High availability and disaster recovery architectures for SAP systems
  • System upgrade, enhancement upgrade, security pack & support packages implementation
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP Basis administration
  • Experience with cloud migration and administration
  • Strong understanding of SAP technical architecture and solution design
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
