Hotel Front Desk Representative Job

This is an entry-level position at a hotel, and you will be the face of our establishment. As a front desk representative, your main responsibility will be to ensure that guests have a seamless and welcoming experience throughout their stay.

  • You will greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude, providing exceptional customer service.
  • You will perform check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and professionally, ensuring that all necessary documents are in order.
  • You will manage guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications, as well as handle any guest queries or complaints with promptness and courtesy.
  • You will coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure smooth room allocations and maintenance of accurate billing records.
  • You will maintain updated knowledge of hotel services, promotions, and local attractions to provide guests with recommendations and insider tips.
  • You will process payments and maintain accurate records of guest transactions.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in hotel management software (PMS) and MS Office is required.
  • The ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively is crucial for this position.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, is a must.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary for maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
