Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking an accomplished Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team, responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our sports technology software platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Software Validation (Primary Focus):
    • Execute comprehensive functional testing of admin portals and web applications, including cross-browser compatibility testing and responsive design validation.
    • Test user interfaces, workflows, and business logic implementations, as well as validate form submissions, data processing, and user authentication flows.
  • Mobile Application Testing:
    • Perform device compatibility testing across different screen sizes and OS versions.
    • Test app performance, battery usage, and memory optimisation, as well as validate offline functionality and data synchronisation capabilities.
  • API Testing:
    • Validate API responses, error handling, and data integrity, as well as execute integration testing between frontend applications and backend services.
    • Test API rate limiting, authentication, and authorisation mechanisms.
  • Integration Testing:
    • Test software interfaces that control computer vision systems and AI processing modules, validating software integration with real-time video analytics and machine learning algorithms.
    • Test software handling of AI model outputs, confidence scores, and decision-making logic, as well as validate software performance with vision-based tracking and analysis systems.
  • Hardware Interface Testing:
    • Test software applications that interface with various hardware control systems, validating software integration with device APIs and communication protocols.
    • Test software workflows for hardware status monitoring and control commands, as well as validate software handling of hardware responses, error reporting, and configuration management.
Requirements:
  • Essential Software Testing Experience:
    • 2-5 years of hands-on experience in software testing (web applications, mobile apps, APIs).
    • Strong experience with manual testing methodologies and test case design.
    • Proven experience in API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
    • Experience with mobile application testing on iOS and Android platforms.
    • Knowledge of database testing and SQL query validation.
    • Understanding of software integration testing with external systems and services.
  • Hardware Integration Understanding:
    • Communication Protocols: Good understanding of MQTT, TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, and IoT communication protocols.
    • Hardware-Software Interfaces: Knowledge of how software interfaces with hardware components through APIs and drivers.
    • Vision-Based AI Systems: Understanding of computer vision applications, AI model integration, and real-time video processing.
    • IoT Architecture: Knowledge of IoT device communication, edge computing, and software-hardware data exchange.
