Electrical Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Procurement Specialist to oversee the end-to-end procurement of electrical items, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing.

This role requires strong vendor management skills, negotiation abilities, and technical knowledge of electrical materials. The successful candidate will identify, evaluate, and finalize vendors for electrical products, float RFQs, prepare price comparison sheets, and negotiate for optimal pricing, credit terms, and delivery schedules.

The ideal candidate should have a Diploma/Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical Engineering or related field, with 3–4 years of procurement experience in an electrical trading company. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and email communication is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and finalize vendors for electrical products (cables, switchgears, panels, etc.).
  • Negotiation: Float RFQs, prepare price comparison sheets, and negotiate for optimal pricing, credit terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Techincal Understanding: Review and interpret SLDs (Single Line Diagrams) and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) to ensure purchases align with project needs.
  • Procurement Records: Maintain accurate procurement records (quotations, POs, payments, approvals).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma/Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 3–4 years of procurement experience in an electrical trading company.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and email communication.
