Job Description

Thermal Management Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Thermal Management Systems Engineer to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in designing and developing cutting-edge cooling solutions using Python.

This position requires expertise in thermal management principles, including single-phase, two-phase, cooling towers, heat exchangers, and electronics cooling. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of engineering principles and equations, with proficiency in Python programming.

The successful candidate will collaborate on modeling thermal components and system-level solutions, ensuring seamless integration into the broader system design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate Engineering Principles and Equations into Python-Based Modules: Ensure seamless integration into the broader system design by translating engineering principles and equations into Python-based modules.
  • Use GitHub for Version Control and Collaboration: Use GitHub for version control and collaboration, ensuring well-documented code and models that are easily maintainable.
  • Test, Validate, and Refine Thermal Models and Components: Test, validate, and refine thermal models and components to meet our system design goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Key Requirements:

  • Deep Understanding of Thermal Management Principles: A deep understanding of thermal management principles (single-phase, two-phase, cooling towers, heat exchangers, electronics cooling, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Python Programming: Proficiency in Python programming with experience in implementing and maintaining engineering models and equations.
  • Familiarity with GitHub: Familiarity with GitHub for collaborative development and version control.
  • Equivalent to a PE Level of Understanding: Equivalent to a PE level of understanding in thermal/mechanical engineering, focused on practical implementation rather than CFD specialization.
