Leading a Construction Team as a Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced project manager to lead our construction team across residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, contract management, and negotiations.

About the Role:

This is a key leadership position that requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a high level of technical competence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the construction team across multiple projects.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for residential and commercial projects.
  • Oversee tendering processes, vendor negotiations, and contract management.
  • Monitor project costs and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
  • Implement cost-control measures and identify areas for savings.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, legal, and contractual standards.
  • Collaborate closely with design, procurement, and finance teams.
  • Provide timely MIS reports and updates to leadership.
  • Develop and optimize construction processes, systems, and best practices for scale.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying; Master's preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in construction or quantity surveying with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in cost estimation, contract management, and project financials.
  • Proven experience in residential and commercial construction projects.
  • Excellent negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software/tools, MS Excel, and construction management systems.
