We are seeking an experienced and results-driven professional to join our team as Business Head – South India. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets in South India.
Main Responsibilities
- Drive Revenue and Market Share: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets in South India.
- Manage Channel and Distribution Partners: Strengthen distributor networks, stockists, and retail partnerships.
- Lead Key Accounts: Build strong relationships with modern trade, e-commerce, and key institutional clients.
- Develop and Mentor Sales Teams: Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team across multiple locations.
- Monitor Market Trends: Track competitor activities, pricing strategies, and consumer trends.
- Optimize Financial Performance: Drive profitability and optimize costs across sales, trade promotions, and logistics.
Requirements
- Experience: 12-18 years in FMCG sales, preferably in food, beverages, or personal care.
- Education: MBA/PGDM from a reputed institute preferred.
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record of managing large teams and high-value P&L.
- Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of South Indian markets, regional consumer preferences, and trade channels.
- Tech & Digital Savvy: Experience in handling e-commerce, D2C, and digital sales channels is a plus.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to derive insights from data and make strategic decisions.
