Job Title: Data Architect

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and implementing large-scale data systems, with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Hadoop/Spark technologies to efficiently process and analyze large datasets.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement data models that feed business intelligence tools, ensuring data accuracy and availability.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement processes and systems to monitor data quality, guaranteeing production data integrity and availability for key stakeholders and business processes.
  • Testing and Documentation: Write unit/integration tests, contribute to the engineering wiki, and document work to ensure knowledge sharing and transparency.
  • Analysis and Troubleshooting: Perform data analysis required to troubleshoot data-related issues and assist in resolving data issues.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with frontend and backend engineers, product managers, and analysts to achieve shared goals.
  • Data Asset Management: Define company data assets (data models), Spark, SparkSQL, and HiveSQL jobs to populate data models.
  • Integration and Quality Frameworks: Design data integrations and data quality frameworks to ensure high-quality data.
