Tender Manager Job Role

We are seeking a skilled Tender Manager to oversee the entire tendering process, from identification to bid submission and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tender Portal Management: Manage profiles on Government e-Marketplace (GEM) and other government/private tender portals.
  • Tender Identification & Analysis: Identify relevant tenders and align them with organizational objectives to maximize opportunities.
  • Document & Compliance Management: Prepare seamless documents, ensure technical compliance, and adhere to tender requirements.
  • Pre-Bid Meetings: Attend pre-bid meetings to clarify project requirements, resolve queries, and gather insights for bid submission.
  • Offer Preparation & Submission: Develop and submit high-quality technical and commercial bids within deadlines.
  • Reverse Auction & Negotiation: Participate in tender events and reverse auctions, ensuring competitive pricing strategies.
  • Vendor & Client Coordination: Maintain strong relationships with vendors and clients for smooth tendering processes.

You will be required to have knowledge of end-to-end tendering processes in the government sector, good communication skills, and be open to travel. Familiarity with various procurement portals is also necessary.
