Electrical Superintendent Role

The Electrical Superintendent is a critical position that oversees the maintenance and upkeep of electrical equipment. This role requires a strong background in electrical engineering, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and implementing maintenance strategies to minimize operational risk
  2. Identifying and evaluating cost-effective technologies to reduce carbon footprint and improve profitability
  3. Maintaining a database of life-cycle upgrades, equipment failures, and root cause analyses for electrical equipment
  4. Proposing budgets for fleet groups and collaborating with the Nautical/Marine standard team
  5. Managing vendors and providing feedback to the category management team
  6. Liaising with the procurement team to ensure timely and cost-optimized purchases of stores and spares
  7. Ensuring timely approval of requisitions and payment of invoices within areas of responsibility
