OpenShift Virtualization Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced OpenShift virtualization expert to join our team.

  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in installing, maintaining and operating OpenShift virtualization environments with high efficiency.
  • They must be proficient in troubleshooting OpenShift issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Excellent IT process management skills are essential, including incident, change and problem management.
  • A strong understanding of networking principles and practices is required, as well as experience with storage systems and technologies including storage management in OpenShift (PV, PVC).
  • Proficiency in installing bare metal servers, rack and stack operations and decommissioning servers from vendors like DELL and HP ProLiant is necessary.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying, operating, decommissioning and migrating virtual machines (V2V and P2V) and managing the lifecycle of virtual machines in OpenShift and VMware.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of systems, configurations and processes is also crucial.
  • Collaboration with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of systems is key to success.

Our ideal candidate will monitor system performance and security using Prometheus and Grafana to proactively address potential issues.
