As a fraud expert, you will play a pivotal role in resolving customer disputes and fraudulent cases. You will collaborate with our team to analyze transaction data, evaluate case validity and liability, and prepare dispute files.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and investigate disputes and fraudulent activities according to Mastercard chargeback rules and internal guidelines.
  • Evaluate transaction data to determine case validity and liability.
  • Prepare and submit dispute files, representments, and supporting evidence to Mastercard within required timelines.
  • Communicate with teams, banks, and merchants to ensure timely resolution of disputes.
  • Identify patterns and emerging trends, providing insights to prevention teams.
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting for compliance and audit purposes.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2-5 years of experience in fraud, disputes, or chargebacks (Mastercard expertise required).
  • In-depth knowledge of Mastercard chargeback rules and dispute lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
