Job Opportunity for DevOps Architect

We are seeking a seasoned professional to design, implement, and optimize our cloud-native infrastructure. This role will involve hands-on architecture and automation while also providing strategic direction on cloud adoption, tooling, and best practices.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Define the end-to-end architecture for cloud-based workloads.
  • Design multi-environment, multi-region architectures for high availability and disaster recovery.
  • Establish best practices for container orchestration, scaling, and governance.
  • Advise on cost optimization strategies.
  • Cloud Expertise:
  • Architect and provision clusters with features like autoscaling, private cluster configuration, network isolation using Azure CNI / Kubenet, managed identities and Azure AD integration.
  • Integrate clusters with supporting services such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus & Grafana, Container Registry (ACR), and Key Vault.
  • DevOps & Automation:
  • Design Infrastructure as Code solutions with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
  • Implement GitOps workflows for automated deployments.
  • Define CI/CD architecture using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
  • Security & Compliance:
  • Architect security models for access control.
  • Integrate security scanning for container images and Kubernetes workloads.
  • Ensure alignment with compliance frameworks and governance policies.
  • Monitoring, Logging, & Observability:
  • Architect observability solutions using Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Container Insights, and Grafana.
  • Establish automated alerting, anomaly detection, and incident response playbooks.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in related roles.
  • 5+ years of hands-on cloud experience, with deep expertise.
  • Strong technical expertise in Kubernetes architecture & troubleshooting, Azure networking, IaC tools, container security and governance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
  • Experience with service mesh architectures.
  • Familiarity with multi-cluster management tools.
  • Experience in workload migration.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead workshops and reviews.
  • Strategic problem-solver.
