Job Title: Mobile Software Developer

We are seeking a skilled developer to join our team and work on the development of a mobile application for livestock management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a user-friendly interface that allows farmers to monitor and control their herds efficiently through a cloud backend and mobile app.

The role involves collaborating with our team, founders, and API engineers to develop the product's mobile app and meet the requirements of farming partners.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Ideating, designing, implementing, and maintaining the product's mobile app
  2. Designing the UX and developing the application's front-end interfaces
  3. Maintaining high engineering and coding standards
  4. Contributing to the continuous improvement of the technology stack

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in building mobile apps using React Native
  • Proficiency in the Typescript ecosystem
  • Knowledge of interface guidelines for Apple and Android apps

Bonus Points:

  • Familiarity with mapping libraries in React Native or Native frameworks
  • Understanding of native iOS and Android ecosystems
  • Contribution to open-source projects

Key Skills:

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Able to debug and optimize complex systems

About the Project:

In the first six months, you will build a mobile app that allows farmers to see their farm map with multiple layers and annotations, integrate with APIs to view livestock on the map, and generate heat maps of farm activity.
