About the Role:

We are seeking an analytical professional to join our team as a Procurement Specialist. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and be able to interpret stakeholders' needs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform procurement analytical and administrative duties, including management of tenders, ensuring optimal cost, service level, and risk outcomes.
  • Support Sourcing Managers/Specialists in running all procurement activities according to established procedures, maintaining effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the wider S&P team nationally and internationally, leveraging commercial awareness to identify opportunities and negotiate contracts.
  • Facilitate negotiations between clients and suppliers, developing strategic dashboards using Power BI to support project delivery and drive business growth.
  • Maintain up-to-date data and accurate visualizations in S&P Power BI dashboards, driving process improvement through special studies and analysis.
  • Develop expertise in key data analytical tools and applications, such as MS Excel, Power BI, and SQL Server, creating value-added solutions for clients.
  • Create innovative solutions to complex problems, exceeding client expectations and anticipating their needs.
  • Conduct thorough market research, identifying potential vendors and optimizing procurement processes.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the Head of Sourcing/Category Management, adapting to changing priorities and demands.

 

Ideal Candidate Specifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or IT, with at least 5 years of experience in procurement, consulting, purchasing, sourcing, and negotiation.
  • Relevant work experience in IFM with knowledge of procurement for services related to facility management is highly regarded.
  • Project management experience, including managing multiple clients, stakeholders, and projects, with expertise in application systems like MS Excel (Advanced/Macros), Power BI, SQL Server, and other data analytics tools.
  • Background in structured process analysis and continuous improvement, with qualifications and professional memberships, such as Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) or equivalent, considered an advantage.

  • Ability to work with senior leaders, anticipate client/stakeholders' needs and exceed expectations.
  • Highly developed analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex problems and generate solutions.
  • Sound interpersonal skills to communicate with diverse stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and results-driven outcomes.
