Senior Backend Engineer Position

About the Role:

We are seeking an accomplished and experienced software engineer to take on a senior backend developer role. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth expertise in Golang, with experience in Ruby, and a solid foundation in building and scaling high-performance backend systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable backend services and APIs using Golang
  • Contribute to the architecture and evolution of our service-oriented/microservices backend
  • Write clean, testable, and efficient code with a focus on quality
  • Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver impactful features
  • Enhance performance, monitoring, and observability of backend services

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in high-scale backend systems
  • Strong proficiency in Golang is required; Ruby or Ruby on Rails experience is a plus
  • Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals — algorithms, data structures, and system design
  • Proven experience building and scaling distributed systems, APIs, or backend platforms in a production environment
