Job Description

In this role, you will champion Agile testing principles and practices, provide quality and testing-related input during the inception phase, and collaborate with the team to prevent defects. You will be responsible for leading the team in modifying the testing strategy over the course of the project and ensuring test automation remains valuable as a feedback mechanism and guides the team to optimize for speed, robustness, and coverage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Quality and Testing related input during Inception phase
  • Collaborate with the team and be responsible for preventing defects
  • Propose test strategy options that address the quality needs of the product
  • Lead the team in modifying the testing strategy over the course of the project
  • Ensure test automation remains valuable as a feedback mechanism and guides the team to optimize for speed, robustness, and coverage
  • Support the Product Owner and Business Analyst in the definition of acceptance criteria and refinement of scope
  • Learn about the product and provide this information to the rest of the team through collaboration
  • Collaborate with Developers to create acceptance tests on the basis of defined acceptance criteria
  • Prioritize test efforts, taking into account the operational and technical risks
  • Facilitate triaging of defects at appropriate frequency
  • Collaborate with the developers and Business Analyst to sign off user stories
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience
  • Experience with Functional Testing, preferred experience in Regulatory relevant application (e.g., FATCA and CRS) of Web-based application, ETL testing, JAVA API
  • Good SQL query skills
  • Experience in Test Automation tools like TOSCA
  • Good to have knowledge of Cloud Native technologies (Google Data Flow, Big Query)
  • Defect tracking and closure with all stakeholders should have experience in JIRA
  • Very good written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in Agile or knowledge of the key principles of the methodology
  • Self-starter who can work pro-actively with minimum supervision
