Key Responsibilities:
  • Technology Roadmap & Vision
    • Understand current technological needs and anticipate future requirements of freight forwarding clientele.
    • Define and articulate forward-looking technology vision aligning with long-term product and business goals.
    • Own technical roadmap ensuring architectural integrity, scalability, and innovation across all platforms.
  • Product & Platform Leadership
    • Oversee full lifecycle product development from ideation and prototyping through to launch, scale, and iteration.
    • Make sound architectural and design decisions across multiple technology stacks ensuring they meet business needs while being efficient, secure, and future-proof.
  • Engineering Team Management
    • Build, lead, and mentor globally distributed teams of engineers, QA professionals, architects, and DevOps specialists.
    • Foster performance culture rooted in innovation, agility, collaboration, and technical excellence.
  • Technical Governance & Best Practices
    • Promote and enforce robust standards for code quality, security, performance, and system integrity.
    • Champion automation testing, DevOps adoption, and CI/CD workflows to accelerate delivery while maintaining stability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with leaders in Product, Design, Sales, and Marketing to ensure all technology efforts are aligned with customer and market needs.
  • Innovation & Emerging Technologies
    • Identify and integrate emerging technologies such as AI/ML, advanced analytics, and workflow automation that offer competitive advantages.
  • Infrastructure & Scalability
    • Ensure infrastructure stability, data integrity, and system availability across all platforms and geographies.
  • Talent Acquisition & Development
    • Own and manage talent acquisition and development processes ensuring strategic investments in tools, systems, and vendor relationships.
