Job Title: Lead Data Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Strategist with expertise in machine learning and deep learning system design and development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience running machine learning tests and experiments, implementing algorithms, and working closely with engineering, data science, and operations teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the vision for modern data and analytics platforms to deliver well-architected and engineered data and analytics products leveraging cloud tech stack and third-party tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data pipelines, machine learning infrastructure, and client-facing products and services.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy data solutions that drive business value and improve customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Qualifications / Skills:
    • At least 8 years of experience in software development, data science, or related field.
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering, information technology, or related field.
    • Master's degree is a plus.
  • Preferred Qualifications/ Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of cloud-based technologies, including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
    • Experience with DevOps practices, such as continuous integration and deployment.
    • Skills in languages like Python, Java, and Scala, as well as scripting languages like Ansible and Jenkins.
    • Containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
    • Cloud Services - Google Cloud, Snowflake.
    • Analytics and ML tooling - Sagemaker, ML Studio.
    • Execution Paradigm - low latency/Streaming, batch.
    • Data platforms - DBT, Fivetran, and Data Warehouse (Teradata, Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake etc.).
    • Visualization Tools - PowerBI, Tableau.
