Key Objectives:

  • Risk Strategy Development: Create a comprehensive risk strategy roadmap that aligns with business objectives and market trends, ensuring proactive management of potential risks.
  • Thought Leadership Establishment: Develop compelling narratives and strategic insights to position the organization as a recognized leader in risk management, showcasing expertise in mitigating complex threats.
  • Content Management Framework: Design a content framework for thought leadership content, encompassing digital platforms, research reports, white papers, and industry publications, driving engaging discussions on key industry topics.
  • Stakeholder Governance: Establish a stakeholder governance framework to accelerate execution, enhance collaboration, and drive high-quality outputs through effective engagement with diverse subject matter experts.
  • Industry Event Planning: Develop strategies for industry events, conferences, webinars, and client roundtables to showcase risk capabilities, promote meaningful dialogue, and foster valuable connections within the industry.
  • OKR and Budget Management: Drive the creation of OKRs for Regional Risk Officer and ensure their consistent cascading throughout the organization, promoting alignment with business priorities and objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strategy Consulting Background: 12+ years of hands-on strategy development and execution experience at top-tier consulting firms or equivalent strategy roles at major multinational financial institutions, leveraging analytical and quantitative expertise to inform strategic decisions.
  • Educational Foundation: Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) from a reputable institution with a strong analytical foundation, equipping professionals with the skills needed to navigate complex business environments.
  • Industry Experience: Deep experience in financial services required, with payments industry experience being advantageous but not essential. Risk management experience is highly valued, especially in candidates with exceptional strategy credentials.
