Job Description:

As a seasoned Application Development professional, you will lead the design, build, and configuration of applications. Your primary responsibility will be to serve as the principal point of contact for all aspects related to application development.

On a typical day, you will leverage your expertise in Natural programming language to develop innovative solutions for clients.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced automated systems development work in support of the UI Benefits system.
  • Responsible for activities during all phases of the system development life cycle including external customer service, analyzing and documenting requirements, coding, testing as well as resolving software, data, hardware and reporting problems and troubleshooting system issues for internal and external clients.
  • Develops and tests COBOL, Natural and JCL Applications that meet design specifications, including accessibility and usability requirements.

Professional Skills and Qualifications:

  • Should have knowledge in ADABAS database theory, techniques, and structures.
  • Strong understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms.
  • Hands on experience with Natural editor running in TN3270 session along with new IDE is NaturalOne.
  • Integration and Migration: Integrating Natural Adabas applications with other systems or databases within the mainframe environment.
  • Knowledge on data cleaning, transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain applications using the Natural programming language within the Ad framework.
Requirements:
  • 3 or more years of experience with Adabas/Natural - on mainframe and/or windows platform.
  • Experience with mainframe legacy tools - MVS, CICS, JCL.
