API Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled API Developer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and developing REST APIs, Java Spring Boot, and other data streaming services.

  • Design and develop new and update existing REST APIs and Kafka event services
  • Define endpoints, data formats, and authentication methods while considering security, performance, and best practices
  • Understand business requirements and translate them into API design
  • Build integration solutions with IBM MDM AE product, MongoDB, and Kafka
  • Implement API design best practices and use modern API design patterns
  • Support technical planning, estimation, development, testing, and UAT support
  • Participate in production incident analysis and issue resolution

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop REST APIs and Kafka event services

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of professional experience designing and developing REST APIs and other data streaming services
  • Java Spring Boot
  • Experience with UML or BPMN, workflow design
  • Working knowledge of SOAP Web Services, XML, JSON, XSD, WSDL, Postman
  • Experience working with Oracle, MongoDB, and SQL
  • Technical writing skills, good oral and written communication skills, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
